Kaitlyn Regehr is a Toronto-born television personality and expert in the history of woman's sexuality. She appeared on Re-Vamped (Slice Network) as a co-host and burlesque choreographer for two seasons from 2009 to 2010.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Kaitlyn Regehr )〕 She is also currently producing the feature documentary "Tempest Storm: Burlesque Queen." Her other television appearances include CP24, Cosmo TV, Urban Rush Vancouver, Breakfast Television Calgary and Rogers Daytime. After receiving a bachelor's degree in theatre at the University of Victoria in 2007, Kaitlyn went on to train with the Moscow Art Theatre and study Russian Physical Theatre at Harvard University. Her interests drove her to pursue a joint Master's degree from Britain's esteemed King's College London and the world-renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Completed in 2010, her thesis, which was published in the journal Sexuality & Culture in 2012, explores the rise of recreational burlesque and questions the connection and distinctions between objectification and empowerment. Sandwiching her time as a Master's degree student, Kaitlyn starred as a co-host and burlesque choreographer on the popular Slice Network (Canada) and Bio Network (UK) television series (Re-Vamped ).〔 Re-Vamped was a reality television program in which recently dumped women regained their confidence through fitness programs and burlesque. Concurrently to her thesis, she is producing the feature documentary “Tempest Storm: Burlesque Queen”, which was the final selection for TIFF’s Pitch This, won first prize at LA’s reality and doc conference WestDoc and is set to hit theatres in late 2014. Kaitlyn continues to publish internationally and appears as an expert on numerous Canadian television programs.
